In international law, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a formal, non-legally binding document that outlines the shared goals, intentions, and frameworks for, in the case of the summaries, between Iran and the United States. It signals mutual political will but lacks the strict enforcement mechanisms of a treaty. The primary determining factor is what the parties intend.
We started creating summaries on May 11, 2026 but were posted on our X-account. As developments mounts by the hour, the summeries became larger and larger, that they started to exceed the maximum length allowed on X. So, we need to continue here. Those which have been posted on our X-account will be re-compiled and published on this website. Unlike timelines, our summaries starts with the earliest development of the day. This is to let you follow from the beginning, and each summary begins with highlights from a day earlier.
