The Islamabad Talks, were held in Islamabad, Pakistan, on April 11 and 12, 2026, and where aimd to stabilize what is de facto the resumption of Netanyahu's war on Iran from June 2025. On April 14, 2026, Pakistan's Prime Minister Sharif posted on his X account that involved parties have agreed to halt all military activities, including in Lebanon. Netanyahu was quickly to say that he is not part of the accepted reachment. But he had chosen not to be part because his spillover of the war into Lebanon fits the Israeli agenda of a "Greater Israel." The Trump's arbitrary interpretation of the Memorandum is the cause of his own frustrations leading to the unilateral ending of the ceasefire on July 13, 2026.
