Israeli shelling reported in southern Lebanon

Intermittent artillery fire is under way between the towns of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon, the National News Agency reports.

Israel has continued its attacks despite a “ceasefire” and ongoing talks between Lebanon and Israel. The two countries are next due to meet on Tuesday in Rome, Italy.

The Lebanese Health Ministry says more than 4,300 people have been killed, including hundreds of children, with 12,200 wounded since Israel launched its invasion of the south on March 2. Israeli forces continue to occupy large swaths of Lebanon.

 

   

Israeli shelling targets southern Lebanese village

The National News Agency reports an Israeli shell landed in Kfar Shouba, a village in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh governorate.

There's also intermittent artillery fire on Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tebnit in the same governorate.

Israel has kept up its attacks on Lebanon despite a “ceasefire” and ahead of Lebanon-Israel talks slated for Tuesday in Rome, Italy.

 

   

Israeli forces blow up several homes in southern Lebanon

Israeli forces have blown up a number of houses on the outskirts of Baraachit, located in the Bint Jbeil district, Lebanon’s National News Agency is reporting.

Intermittent Israeli shelling has been reported in multiple towns in Nabatieh governorate today, including Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Tebnit and Kfar Shouba.

Israel’s attacks on Lebanon since March 2 have killed at least 4,324 people and wounded 12,221, Lebanon’s Health Ministry says.

Israel has continued its assault on southern Lebanon despite a “ceasefire”. Representatives from the two countries are due to meet in Italy for another round of talks next week.
