On August 17, 2026, the Memorandum of Understanding has expired after negotiations which started in 2025, agreed upon by all parties on June 17, 2026. It has been violated multiple times by systematically arbitrary interpretation then ultimately killed by Trump after he declared on July 8, 2026, the ceasefire, included in the MoU, as ended.
