Syrian president condemns attacks on Saudi Arabia in call with MbS

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has discussed de-escalation efforts under way in the Middle East with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa in a phone call on Thursday, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Al-Sharaa condemned “attempted attacks” on Saudi oil facilities by Iran-backed groups in Iraq and backed the Saudi right to respond, according to the agency.
